We keep a very close eye on Irish restaurants, culling our recommendations from guides, sites, the press and, crucially, our own experience. We listen very carefully to our wives' verdicts— if it's good enough for Sandra and Carol, you can be sure it's good.
• Entrance to the better quality attractions in Ireland— some well-known, like Waterford Crystal; some less well-known like Strokestown House. Whatever is right for you.
